Internet Movie Database is the holy grail of film and I include it here only on the slight chance someone might never have come across it. Spout is a great general fan site for film with tons of news, articles and humour. You can join in with the conversation if you sign up to be a member. Metaphilm is a site with serious and thoughtful analysis of film, including spiritual and social questions. If you feel like giving your brain some food, this is the place to eat. Metacritic is a site I love. It pulls together reviews from all kinds of online and paper film critics and gives the overall rating. Hollywood Jesus is the definitive site for a Christian view of film. Written with a huge amount of insight and passion, it's refreshingly open minded and positive about about film culture. Guardian Film is the home of Peter Bradshaw, the Guardian film critic and a bunch of other good stuff. Upmarket. BBC Collective is the Beeb's own microsite on alternative and arthouse film. Feel good about yourself and dispense with all that mainstream tosh here. Box Office Mojo is for all you statistical wizards out there (you're there, right?) who want to know exactly how many people went to see Mama Mia last Tuesday. Box office facts galore. TakePart is the companion site for Participant Productions, providing teaching resources, links and ways to get involved in the movies they make. It's a great place for teachers and youth workers to find stuff on key social issues. RowThree is a Canadian film site with reviews, podcasts and comments from a collective who like a sprinkling of independent and foreign language films alongside all that Hollywood mainstream stuff.
