It's been a fantastic few weeks for film..... helped by the London Film Festival. But this week suddenly seems a little flat. On Friday we had 'A Christmas Carol' which, simply by starring Jim Carrey, must be rubbish. 'Jennifer's Body' may be passable if you like that kind of teen horror and 'Men Who Stare at Goats' has had such bad reviews I can't summon the interest. Which leaves 'Bright Star' which is, indeed, bright, but I've already seen it in preview. So, bah humbug, nothing much to get excited about.
